The 2008 Induction Banquet Weekend August 1-2, 2008 features three events: the 46th Annual Induction Banquet on Friday evening; Meet the Inductees Saturday morning; and, The Drawdown of Champions on Saturday night.

2008 Honorees expected at all three events are:

Coolidge Ball: the first African-American athlete at Ole Miss;

Will Clark: former MSU national college player of the year and six-time MLB All-Star

Reggie Collier: USM quarterback who became the first player in college history to run and throw for a thousand yards in the same season

Paul Covington: winningest basketball coach in Jackson State University history;

Hill Denson: former USM and current Belhaven baseball coach who guided the Golden Eagles to their first ever NCAA berth.

Jennifer Gillom: former Olympic gold medal-winner basketball star and SEC female athlete of the year at Ole Misswho played 17 professional seasons.
