Dizzy
Dean Museum:
The best collection of Dizzy Dean Memorabilia in America makes
the Gashouse Gang come alive! Personal items donated by Ole
Diz' late wife Pat Dean include Diz' 1934 World Series and Hall
of Fame rings. Timeless pictures of Diz with Will Rogers, Ike,
Satchel Paige and many more. Vintage newsreel clips and an original
uniform are also on display in other parts of the Museum. |

Methodist Rehabilitation Center Sports Medicine Exhibit:
A completely revamped exhibit entitled "Advances in Sports
Medicine" is currently in its design phase and is tentatively
set to open to the public in February, 2003.

Wendy's
High School Gallery:
The Wendy's High School Gallery contains an ongoing recognition
of Wendy's High School Heisman winners from Mississippi plus
electronic and traditional artifact displays acknowledging individuals
and past and current state champions. |

The
Participatory Room:
Museums for the 21st Century feature participation. The Participatory
Room at the Museum contains highly interactive exhibitry for
golf, football, baseball and soccer. These are not video games
nor are they virtual. They are full participation, "hit
'em as hard as you can" exhibits that are among the Museum's
most popular.
Sensors
in the screen read the force and trajectory of the real golf
ball you are hitting, the real baseball you are throwing and
the real soccer and footballs you are kicking. How you perform
determines the random outcome of your participation in this
exhibit. A fun exhibit for all ages!
