Lombardi Ties to Mississippi

The Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame and Museum, Wells Moore Simmons Edwards Wilbanks & the Sam E. & Burnice C. Wittel Foundation recently sponsored Lombardi at New Stage Theater. A unique twist prior to the play was hearing from players and aquaintances of the legendary Vince Lombardi. Perian Conerly, whose husband, Charlie, played under Lombardi for the NY Giants, along with Eddie Crawford and Packers Allen Brown and Mike Dennis were on the panel. Search Underway for New Executive Director
A search committee has been formed by the board of the Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame and Museum to select a new executive director. Long time executive director, Michael Rubenstein, died December 1, 2011.
Interested applicants should submit their resume to the Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame no later than February 1. Mail information to 1152 Lakeland Drive, Jackson, MS 39216.

Museum Holiday Schedule
The Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame and Museum will close at noon on Friday, December 23 and will resume normal operating hours of 10:00 am - 4:00 pm on Tuesday, December 27. For your convenience, we will open at 9:30 am on December 23. Office hours are 9:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday-Friday.
The Museum will also be closed December 31-Jan 2.
The Museum Board of Directors and staff wish all of you a safe and joyous holiday.
